Update: Christmas on the Frontlines

In December, VBC’er Tim J. traveled to southern Ukraine for a Christmas project for children and families living near the frontlines of the war. With the VBC Mission Team’s support and direct donations from the VBC family, the project budget nearly doubled (praise God!).

As a result, our VBC family (in cooperation with SLOT on the Border & New Life Church, Kyiv) provided 130 toys for children, 80 food packages for families, and 30 care packages with life-saving medical items and Ukrainian New Testaments for those serving on the frontlines of the war—all in Jesus’ name, to the glory of God.

Prayers:    

  1. Safe travel to and from the aid delivery site near the frontlines

  2. An opportunity to preach the gospel and meet believers in the area

  3. Good quality translation during aid delivery
